Our mast is keel-stepped, so the cabling will emerge at the main bulkhead.

Trying to understand how "exrension" cords work. The long cable wil make it down the mast. The short one will make it down from the display cockpit. How do they mate? How can you make an extension so the long cable won't have to be threaded through the saloon twice a year?
