I am going to install an AC panel beside the DC panel but it backs into a cockpit locker so I need to make a cover for it. I was thinking of using UHMW. I see McMaster Carr has VHMW for UV resistance so I might as well use this even though it will mostly be in the dark. What is the best tool for cutting UHMW? Does a circular saw work or does it just melt and make a mess? I've tried a reciprocating saw on ULTEM it was awful.
The old breaker at the bottom of the picture has been removed and the new panel is going where the old metal double box is upper right. If the UHMW box fabrication goes ok I'll make a bigger one to cover the DC panel as well.
