What is the thinking about the weight (ounces) of the material of a storm trysail? I can buy an existing un-used one that is made with 7.5 oz sail cloth or have one made with heavier material for more $, but I have no clue as what the appropriate weight, or even range of weight, of the cloth should be. (Or when speaking of sailing should I say that I have no clew?) Vessel is 35 ft, 18,000 displacement if that is reliant.
