It's used as the overboard pump for our holding tank. The only thing I can think that may have effected the rubber valve flaps is the RV anti freeze I pumped through last fall.

I think I pumped it dry(maybe not). The anti freeze I know is caustic to many rubber parts when used in home systems, but this seems extreme.

I have the rebuild kit but is there a recommended winterizing method for these pumps?
