This can and does happen with any performance cat...

I've had it happen with my Prindle 16. You HAVE to keep the bows out of the waves... which means when you are really flying along, you have to keep the weight out and back. Not sure on the AC boat if they really had enough crew weight to keep it balanced... considering the lever they are dealing with... along with that massive sailing area.

This isn't likely to happen with a cruising cat, but when a boat has the power to weight (sail area to mass) ratio of of that AC boat... watch out.

And yeah, I still have my Prindle... hey, fast under sail is still a blast. GRIN

Besides, it's parked next to the house... no slip fees.
