Craig, when we were cruising to the Bahamas, we had the standard foam cushion set-up with a product loosely called "dry bunk" under the cushions. It was a thick paper like stuff designed to absorb moisture. It did to an extent, but we still had to take the cushions out on occasion and dry them. The body generates more moisture than you think. We have sense used the Froli system, that this had taken care of the moisture because it allows about an inch of air between you and the surface of the bunk. This is in the fore-peak. As for comfort, I can't say that it has improved it that much, but the moisture problem, which drove us nuts, has been solved. I like the product. If, on the other hand, you have to get into a locker that is under the bunk, you have to move the Froli too.
