It's funny how drafts change on broker listings depending on what coast you are on

If you look at the specs for my boat on the east coast they say it's a 6 foot 2 inch draft, if you look at the factory specs it says 6"4" draft. I saw one listed on west coast that said 6 foot 10 inch draft. We measured the waterline at 6 foot 8.5 inches. There is a marker line in the original layup all the way around. I saw the IMS sheet for one that said 6.89 feet I guess that would be the closest to the truth. I guess they'd have a hard time selling a boat with a 6'10" draft in the Chesapeake Bay. I was pleasantly surprised to find my boat had a deeper draft.

We saw an old C-38 in the yard the poor thing looked like somebody cut 2 feet off the keel.
