We spent quite a bit of time at the boat this weekend as did many others. We had a chance to get caught up on the latest news and find that our dock neighbor has yet to get the sails on or even wash his Cat 34, wife is in the last stages of cancer. Powerboater next to him, same deal. Owner of the Beneteau ketch I have been chasing for 15 years will not be putting it in the water again, he has lost over 100 pounds and is hoping to make it to the end of summer.

This is kind of sobering. Perhaps the kind of boat you have really doesn't matter.....maybe you should just enjoy the time you have to the fullest.
