Probably just the signs of someone with a new boat (to me)... just want to baby it for a while. Heck, I used to wax my car when it was new too. These days you have to scrape the dirt off of it to find out what color it used to be.

No doubt I'll get over it before too long. She's such a pretty little thing though.

I did just ask a local canvas shop for a full boat cover bid (at least to cover some of that exposed brightwork...) no point in doing all that work just to have it quickly fade in the beating SoCal sun.

And truth be told... I've only done the side that faces south... the north side (in the slip) doesn't get nearly the same exposure.
