He'd departed Sandy Hook on a solo North Atlantic record attempt sometime yesterday, hoping to get a push from the cold front that was moving thru the region... There was some pretty wild weather contained in that one, never saw much wind here at my place on the Jersey shore, but plenty of heavy thunderstorms moving through, and numerous tornado watches and warnings posted around the area...

Details very sketchy, good news is he's OK, but I doubt IDEC will come right-side up again as easily as RAMBLER did...
