I believe the 2003 spec book says pull and test every 600 hours.
In Response To: When to overhaul diesel injectors? ()

The injectors are in a copper sleeve with no washer at the bottom. Mine had not been removed for a long time and the sleeves were corroded. In the end I had to pull the head and replace the injector sleeves.
