It's true - Southern New England has a beauty quite distinct from Maine. BOTH beautiful, but different. I look forward to returning to Maine to see the trees, islands, seals and dolphins, eagles, watercraft, and people. In Southern New England there are the beaches, different bird species, more fish, clams, different culture. And, of course, the food is different too. So, each summer I also look forward to exiting Hog Island Channel into Buzzards Bay and cruising in that part of the world. It's (mostly) all good. It's also good further South. Oh - the food in Chesapeake Bay and the Low Country in SC and GA! Oh, my!
