It was touch and go, I never know what will happen, when I'm alone.
What a memorable sail. Cape Cod bay owed me one for sure! At the end of the canal, looking at the lumps waiting for me, I wasn't sure I wanted to go. But once we found our balance, it got better and better. The last couple hours were exhilerating.
P-town was just right though for some sleep. That was it for sailing. I just motored into lonely Monhegan at dusk(last night on Isle of Shoals). A welcome sight, Monehgan. Now I sit in complete calm(thanks alot...), watching the sunset over the Gulf of Maine.
The Gulf of Maine owes me a few too. It was a great trip, a sort of flash back for Mary Ann and I. It is beautiful on Monhegan at this moment and promises a good night. Thanks again.
