DQOTD - where can you get a tapered mounting base?

I plan to install a Refleks diesel heater. The base of the through-deck fitting for the flue is about 5" diameter. My deck is tapered at that point (about 13/16" over a 5" span, fortunately a fairly flat as opposed to curved surface). Defender carries a 6" teak winch pad that would work if I could figure out how to slice it on an angle. I'm sure this is a fairly common boat issue, does anyone have any suggestions where to find or how to make the required piece?

Thanks, Max

PS It's been a long struggle to figure out what to do about heat. Webasto or Espar have been mighty tempting but it is pretty difficult for me to get the air hoses forward without screwing up a bunch of lockers. I also have a natural gravitation towards keeping things simple - which the Refleks does in spades. The Refleks 66 has a very small footprint (6.5" diameter x 16 high) and will fit nicely along a small wall.
