If the main is dacron or spectra, maybe. Again, as Rich points out, to get the shape right is going to be very tough. If the sail has a full foot to allow for lighter air sailing, you might end-up with a much flatter sail than your boat would like (light air performance might be affected a great deal). I think I'd talk to a LOCAL sailmaker who'd be prepared to opinine on that.

The jib would be possilbe (though I'm not sure about the shape) if you took something off the foot. Beacuse of that, if the original owner's boat had a 100% sale, you might have a 110 or 120% sail (depends on your 'j' measurement, and hoist dimension etc. Again, you need to have a sailmaker look at the sails and the "prior" boat and yours.
