Peggie -- a question about build-up in the head

() When we cruise we try to make our holding tank last longer by flushing with less saltwater, and I've gotten a build up of scale in the bottom of the bowl (and of course in the hoses too). Given that white vinegar is bad for rubber parts, what's the maximum time I should allow vinegar to sit in the bowl and pump/hoses?

- I think so. It got slower as I posted my rambling below, then quit all together.
