Hydrocoat is a VERY hard ablative
In Response To: petit Hydrocoat ()

I tried it this year and WILL NOT be using it again. If I buy an ablative that is what I expect to get. This stuff won't even leave a cloud in the water when scrubbed aggressively by diving. I will have to sand off the CRAPPY Hydrocoat I put on to go back to Ultima SR-60 to get a real ablative paint that won't build up. It also slimes up terribly fast. Had to dive on it three times this year alone in ME. With SR-60 I dove once last season and it was not even necessary... While it goes on and cleans up easily the stuff sucks compared to what the manufacturer lead me to believe it would do, which is ablade.
