In 2006, I sat out a corker of a nor'easter just before Halloween. I took this photo in Dark Harbor as the gale was building. It was memorable.

Just like 2011, Halloween, a few days after in 2006, dawned sunny and quite warm. I sailed home in shirtsleeves.

The first week of November for 2011 is forecast to be quite nice. Sunny, 50's. I may still get in a sail or two before haul out.
