FLAT is best for 'capacitance'

() Braid contains much 'rounded' components which simply 'cancel out' the capacitance 'capacity' and the AMOUNT of braid flat surface area still has to be equal to the surface area of the 'foil' to do the same job ... of 'capacitance'. Will braid work? ... yes, if the apparent 'flat surface area' is the same.
