As long as the sample was kept sealed in a clean container, it should still be good to analyze. Be sure to shake the sample for at least one minute before transferring the fluid to the sample bottle that comes with the oil analysis sample kit. That will help insure that nothing will have settled out of the sample before you make the transfer.
