Thanks for the re-welcome!

I live close to San Francisco bay and have been sailing and working on boats all my life. (I'm on the high side of 50). My father had a boat shop, but materials and especially electronics have changed alot since the 1970's & 80's.

I've owned my 1983 FG Seafarer Swiftsure 30 Sloop for 10 years. She is starting to show her age, and effectively neglecting her for a year to restore a car really didn't help. My goal is to get her bristol again by next Summer.
