Watched two boats get launched and then make a few test runs across San Diego Bay - very impressive! My marina is on Harbor Island and the AC launch area is just across the bay from our parking lot.

There was not a white cap in sight and very few ripples on the water. I would guess the wind was less than 7 knots.

The chase boats for the two AC boats were on a full plane and having trouble keeping up!

Supposed to be out there now but the bay is dead flat - should be fun to get out their in my dinghy and watch them
