A Christmas present from the Admiral

When we were in Stuart Fl. We saw this antique flare gun and I offhandedly asked her to get it for me for Christmas.

Didn't think I would but I did.

Beautiful flare gun. Made in 1943 in Sidney by CSR Sugar Company for the Australian military. It's a remake of a gun that was first produced in 1911 in England. They sure don't make them like this anymore. Solid brass and stainless. Takes a 26.5mm shell. (european size still made)
