Seriously. After 7 tries (I don't know the details), don't you think someone would view this as just a personal stunt -- not a unforeseen "accident"?

I certainly wouldn't herald his repeated failures as a great accomplishment.

I'm getting old too (a day or so at a time) -- 84 is a ways off, but not that far...etc., etc.

Anyway, I'm glad he's okay. If called, and in a position to help, I'd have raced to his rescue -- but, enough is enough ;^))))
