There are parts of the ICW where it's unpopulated and I can push our trawler up to our full cruising speed, about 7.5 knots. We throw a pretty good wake at that speed.

Yesterday, we were joined by dolphins, as we've been everyday since Beaufort NC. They usually play in our bow wave. Yesterday, though, the four dolphins broke off and started body surfing in our wake. There's a pic below, but the video is much better and shows them jumping. The video is on today's blog. Pretty awesome! Chevy the dog was really excited. We put him on his leash so he wouldn't jump off the boat. You can hear him whining in the video.
