They must have some heavy political influence. Their "solution": Every other maker of a GPS receiver should redesign their products and design a retrofit for every device out there already in use. Huh?
What really galls me about their proposed "solutions" is that they declare the GPS makers were deficient or negligent somehow because they didn't anticipate high-power signals adjacent to the low--power bands and build in notch filters that would have increased cost, while decreasing performance and sensitivity in the GPS bands. GPS receivers are products where low-cost and high sensitivity are demanded by the market (and desirable attributes for the real-world performance of the receivers).
