Friday is tugboat video day!

LMAO! No, not really.

We're now at Isle of Hope Marina in Georgia, just outside of Savannah. It's on a hairpin turn in the river. When we first arrived, I was amazed when a 900' long barge came around the hairpin turn in the river here, but he had little tugs to help him make the turn. I was more amazed when this tug and barge came around the turn, unassisted. I was up on the flybridge and just set the camera on the liferaft to record it.

Go to the blog and click the video link. It's only about 2 minutes long. I think it's an amazing feat of boat handling. Think about this the next time you're nervous about docking your boat.
