than the D400. I can't say how reliable it is because I don't have one, but I have never seen one nearly as quiet. I was at the back of a boat in the Bahamas one day a couple years ago talking to the owners, it was blowing 25, these guys have two of them mounted on the davit tops, they were several feet from my head as I stood in my dinghy chatting, they were spinning around like an airplane prop. You couldn't hear a thing, we had a perfectly normal and long conversation. I couldn't believe it. If I was to get a wind generator, there is no question I would spring for the $2000 it takes to get one of these, I don't care how long it lasts ... I was very impressed.
