First of March on the coast of Maine, isn't spring.

Far from it. The river that feeds into our harbor is hardly up to normal spring levels. Little snow to drain away. This is LW. We swim here in mid August, it's over my head at high tide.It will be some time before the cover comes off this Pinky Schooner. Or these boats, including mine in the gray. There have been a couple boats fishing the last few weeks perhaps due to the warm winter we've had. Those are all docks under shrinkwrap. Mooring chain waits patiently. Spring will be here soon enough.
