I post photos of the beautiful boats that launch in my harbor.

But I don't know how many people realize almost all I photograph that come out of Rockport Marine get painted by hand each spring. I think it's often just one person that does it(until they get too big), rolling and tipping around a 40'er.

If the base is in good condition and doesn't need much prep beyond a light sanding, it's not that big a job. I bet this painter gets around this hull in 2 or 3 hours. I know when I paint my hull, it takes longer to set the staging and tape things off than it does to apply the paint.
