wondered if anyone has any suggestions. I have a fuel transfer pump set up on the boat which consists of a Racor filter connected to a Jabsco Water Puppy with a nitrile impeller. The exhaust from the the filter is plumed directly into the tank. The pick up is a section of 3/8 copper tube connected to 20 feet of 1/2 hose which is connected to the intake of the Watter Puppy. The purpose for all of this is to transfer fuel from Jerry jugs at sea with out hurting my back or getting seawater into the tanks. My plan is to remove the hose that is permanently connected to the tank and replacing it with another 10 foot 1/2 inch hose that I can use to return the fuel back into the Jerry jugs. I plan on pumping out the fuel into the jugs, cleaning the tanks with a brush and rags and cycling the fuel through the Raycr with a 30 micron filter several times.
