My B&G instruments have a lot of years on them and some day will start giving me trouble. I don't really look forward to the cost and trouble of replacing them, and mostly just want the Apparent Wind angle. I'm hopeful that a simple and reliable wireless unit might be available when that day comes.

Awhile ago I did a Google search on Tacktic and got a mixed bag. Some folks have been very pleased, and for others they've been problematic.
