For now this is primarily a radar and secondarily a backup GPS. A Furuno 1623 would have been only a radar, so this is a step up. (The workboats on the New Bedford waterfront could be a Furuno ad. Ray exists only in signs in windows.) It will live under the dodger on a RAM mount and be Nan's nav station. I'll still have the 276c at the helm.
