none of us knows how much time we have left
In Response To: Live you’re Dream... ()

I had chest pain last week, went to the hospital, and (to make a longer story shorter) had angioplasty in two arteries - the
right coronary artery (over 99% closed!) and a branch (OM2) of the circumflex artery (over 90% closed). It could easily
have ended differently - fatally. (Luckily I was in NYC and have health insurance; if I was on the boat then I almost
certainly would have died doing what I enjoy the most) . There is a huge, under-stated risk associated with being patient and
just hoping that you'll go cruising 'someday'.

I remember 'Michele' too. She asked a lot of questions about different types of cruising boats. She said she WAS going to
buy her boat - and I believed her. She seemed to be determined but didn't take the next step. There is a lesson for us all
here. My condolences.
