You may or may not get a kick out of meeting a crusty old SOB, but he too rents moorings, a bit cheaper than Beggar's I think, and more importantly you can leave your dinghy tied to the mother ship and have George drive you ashore. I feel safer with the dinghy on the boat, rather than tied to a dock with a lot of comings and goings over the course of a week.

And yes Tom we should hook up sometime. We usually do long weekends from mid-July to the end of August.
