It's tight space and I want to maximize space available. This is my LAST boat to own, LAST boat to build, gonna have it like I want it. On my last actually built/finished boat by me I used a 14 gallon Vetus flexible water tank but I've pretty much looked at all there is.......I think......and I'm not gonna build it with wood and epoxy...been there, too and done that.
The few major underdeck events in this boat are the water tank, the battery placement, and where am I gonna put the inside ballast. Have not decided on porta potti or wagbag or what. Just not enough space to waste. All of this of course is predicated on me still being suitable to using the boat. Between my 'ritis, knees, hip, etc. I gotta wonder some days. Still, I have a couple of 'long' trips planned for this boat, MUST get it in the water this summer. I've lost two boating seasons so far to this due poor choice of "builder" initially. I hope to traverse the Columbia River from up around Tri Cities to the mouth and circumnavigate Puget Sound. Time will tell but I'm not gonna screw around in some areas, have screwed around tooooo much in others. It's hard to get good help...
Boat looks a lot different currently. This pic was recent after I just paid off the "builder" and took the boat home or it would NEVER have been finished and crappily to boot. His basic work was sound but I've had to do a LOT of redoing in ancillary areas.
