I was an engineering student in London at the time of the student "uprising" that originated at the London School of Economics in the late 1960s. Our lecture/lab schedule seemed to be preparing us for long hours in the workforce. We didn't have time to get involved in the "protests" so our opinions were vastly unrepresented, especially as all the liberal arts types delayed the votes until we and the math folk had returned to class . . .
Don't think any of it mattered much in the end . . I went sailing.
