Signature Finish Paint
In Response To: Painting Waterline stripes ()

Signature Finish Paint .... Same manufacturer as Honey Teak.
Its a Urethane-Arcylic 2 part catalyzed that 'brushes out' quite well with a chem. resistant foam brush. Results will be almost like you sprayed it if you thin carefully.
You can also spray with a disposable PreVal sprayer ... just 'prefilter' the paint with a fine mesh paint 'cone', and throw away the integral 'filter' on the Preval suction tube. Use 3M fine-line mylar masking tape.
Example of Preval: http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=2155&familyName=Preval+Spray+Gun+Kit

Most 'paints' will lift at the waterline due to constant 'dipping' of the hull sides. Ive found that Signature Finish is one of the few 'brush on' paints that wont lift. No need for a prime coat, just solvent wash to remove oil/wax then sand the FRG to less than 100 grit.

Available in 'standard colors' or can be color matched (charge), no charge for matching to standard Sunbrella colors.
