This stuff is less expensive than marine plywood, but I think it would be better.

The G-10 is 4* as expensive at the two suppliers in my area.
The closest plastic supplier has some leftover 1/2" grade C phenolic that is very cheap.
I guess the question is could it be worse than plywood ?
