I believe I may have posted this before, but what the hell...

The tenders on davits approaching the height of the first spreaders is something that appears to becoming more commonplace, saw lots of boats prepping for the Caribbean 1500 with that arrangement... What the hell are these people thinking?

Just a hunch, but I'm guessing sailing is not a very high priority with some of these folks, eh? (grin)
