Yes! We still do most of the launch work ourselves.

It's sort of a family tradition I realize these days. Not unusual here on the coast where many people live near their boats(not possible in your case I understand). You still see a few owners rigging boats themselves, commissioning engines, fixing the typical spring problems.

It's a fun day for most of us(and a long one for some). So as we're lucky enough to schedule our launch a few days out, I look for best weather. A lot of steps need to be made the night before including moving our spar across the public landing to the crane.
