Many here know Jim and Janette Laverdiere who sailed the Bahamas a few years ago on Borean, their CS33.

They now have a CS36 Viewfinder, and until recently Jim had been using a sat phone to update positions and post to a blog, but they've had some terrible weather and now Tropical storm Chris banging at their back door if my estimate of their position of 40N 45W is accurate.

Not a part of the world I have ever had any interest in crossing...

Sure hope they're alright...
