My main computer here at home is a 24 inch iMac that I bought new in 2007. Never have had any problems with it, so I continue to use the computer and have not had any reason to change.......
Last week, I decided to up the Ram from1 GB to 4 GB. Went to the Micro Center store and bought their Mac memory of 4GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM for $59.99, and installed the dual channel kit in about 5 minutes.
WOWOW, this is like having a new computer. I am amazed how much faster this is, and thought I would pass the info along.
Package Kit says that it is compatible with iMac Intel's, MacBook, and MacBook Pro, and you need to check your documentation to ensure your model is compatible with 2 GB (x2) DDR2 SODIMMs.
