And I thought these guys were overloaded

30 on a 30 footer? I honestly can't imagine anyone thinking it would be ok to go out on the water with 27 people on a 34 foot boat; it wouldn't be much different than this picture. It's not just the captain, all of the people on board are Darwin award candidates. The most unfortunate thing is it was the kids that were the ones killed. At that age kids should be able to trust their parents (or guardians) to keep them safe. Obviously, they failed.
