I have an Adler Barbour system that uses the older freon R12... trying to determine what and if may need to be replaced to move to newer refrigerant. I suspect that I will end up buying a new system... as it won't be cost effective to "upgrade" the old system.

What have any of you found? Is upgrade possible... is it worth it, or what? What about higher efficiency newer 12V systems?
