I just got a burgee for the Orion... and would like to fly it... according to what I have read online, it should fly from the port spreader. The American flag should fly from the starboard stern or better yet, from the leach of the main, 2/3rds of the way up.

Is it OK to fly the burgee and the American flag at the same time... if the burgee is lower than the American flag? I was always taught that the American flag should be no lower than any other flag.
