I spent a few days on Statia and was very impressed. If I remember I did one dive from the local dive shop there.
I was surprised that (according to a local I met) Statia was the first to fire a salute to a US flagged ship. A rich history there. Also had some runes of an old chappel/chirch (can't remember now) and a few other things.

May have to try to get back that way.
