Hi Greg,
It did rather look as though we were ready to hit the theatre, eh? One day we hope to produce a feature length film, but we are not quite there. It would also be exciting to check out some of the adventure film festivals that are around. I've seen some exciting stuff at the Banff Mountain Film Festival…
We're glad you enjoyed the information in this video, though it's just the tip of the iceberg. I find the most important thing to remember when dealing with foreign customs officials is to dress appropriately, smile, and be patient and respectful. On one of our last voyages we watched someone walk into the customs area with bare feet and, my goodness, they were turned around so quickly it would make your head spin.
One invaluable source of information is someone who has already been to a particular country. At last years SSCA Gam in Melbourne, I got some amazing info on visa and entrance requirements for French Polynesia that I am not sure I would have ever found on my own. I love that the cruising community is supportive and generous with their experiences…it helps everyone!
Thanks again for watching and we'd love to hear more from you!
Cheers,
Drake and Mo
