I repainted mine 2 years ago with Alexseal...

Hey Larry,

Just brushed it on, with fairly minimal prep... My hull is too unfair, and with too much tiny crazing, to bother to go for "Perfect", simply "Shiny" is good enough for me...

I went with the recommendation of Russell at Shepard's Point boatyard down in Morehead City... They do some beautiful work, and he's become a big fan of Alexseal, recommends it for DIY-ers like me, as it's more forgiving to work with than Awlgrip...

So far, so good... Haven't had to make any repairs yet, but that's one of the arguments in favor of it, apparently it's far more easily repairable than Awlgrip...

You might have your yard guy call Russell, he's a very friendly and helpful guy, and I can't recommend his yard too highly for anyone ever needing help or work done in the Beaufort/Morehead City area...

best regards,

Jon
