When it's underwater I could see it lifting. The two daggerboards and rudders are the only foils in the water when the keels out. In some ways this reminds me of the old Sandbaggers that were ferociously overpowered and sandbags moved to windward on each tack.
But I think it is combination of several things, hull shape, sails, daggers, etc. that are hopefully going to allow this hull to plane in most winds. That could be something new.
